SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT

II.1.6) Description/object of the contract: Manchester Business School
is seeking to put in place a framework of agreements for the provision of
a range of academic and consultancy services including: business
consultant to provide the academic input before, during and after a
research project, acting as the main interface with the client, whilst
supported by the Centre Coordinator in the management of the team and
resources involved in designing and delivering the research. Executive
Education Course Director to manage the client relationship on a
day-to-day basis and will be the main interface with the client and
manage all people and resources involved in designing and delivering the
programme. Lecturer to Award Bearing Programmes: to supply and present
teaching materials in line with MBS standards and institutional
requirements. Lecturer to Non Award Bearing Programmes: to supply and
present the teaching materials to achieve the client"s learning teaching
objectives and desired outcomes. Executive Education Opportunity Manager:
responsible for leading the development of a portfolio of executive
development programmes for MBS clients Outdoor Development Activity
Provider: to manage and coordinate a residential event to accelerate the
formation of effective, high performing teams and to raise levels of
trust and support amongst members of the MBA Programme Expertise is
required across all academic disciplines, although it is not envisaged
that one individual will have the necessary knowledge in all of them. An
individual/company will be appointed to carry out one or more of the
tasks identified it is proposed that a panel of individuals/companies
should be appointed to meet foreseeable needs and that appropriate
project teams will be selected from the panel to service individual
projects as they arise during the period arrangement.

estimated to be in the region of 800 000 GBP. Suppliers may tender to
provide as many or as few requirements as they wish.

appointment of the successful supplier will be a period of three years in
the in first instance extendable in annual increments thereafter,
subjected to satisfactory performance up to a maximum period of 5 years
(to 30.9.2009).
