II.1) Description

II.1.6) Description/object of the contract: Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant
has taken the decision to modernize the Reactor Protection System at unit
1 within the Rl RPS Alliance project.
The material and services within this contract notice concerns seismic
qualified cable trays.
The installation of cable trays will be performed during 2004 to 2007.
According to the present time schedule the RFQ for cable trays will be
sent out in late October 2004.
The plan is to sign a contract/agreement with one cable tray supplier for
a number of part deliveries during the period 2004 to 2007.
In connection to the hardware delivery there is also need for
documentation as input for design and verification of seismic, fire and
jeopardizing events as well as engineering support.

SECTION III: LEGAL, ECONOMIC, FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION
III.2) Conditions for participation
III.2.1) Information concerning the personal situation of the
contractor, supplier or service provider and information and formalities
necessary for the evaluation of the minimum capacity required: List of
principal services effected in the past three years, with details of the
dates and recipients involved.
Description of the quality control arrangements and of the testing and
research facilities.
Requirement of the supplier:
statement of implemented quality management/assurance program meeting the
relevant requirements of ISO 9001:2000 or equivalent, Environmental
Management Program meeting the relevant requirements of ISO 14001:1996 or
equivalent and to comply with the relevant guidelines of ISO 10006 or
equivalent standard.
The supplier shall have extensive international experience from
designing, manufacturing and delivery of seismic verified cable trays to
Nuclear Power Plants. The tender will partly be evaluated with respect to
earlier documented references from such deliveries.
The supplier shall have in house manufacturing and Research and
Development (R&D).
Supplier shall possess adequate financial strength in order to fulfill
long-term obligations.
A condition for signing a contract, contractor shall possess a
procurement / quality system approval as a supplier to Ringhals in
accordance with the Swedish Nuclear Inspectorate (SKI).
Language shall be English or Swedish for interfacing staff.
