Government"s vision for Lifelong Learning. Ufi has two strategic
objectives - to stimulate demand for lifelong learning, and to promote
the availability of and access to high quality and innovative learning,
particularly through the use of information and communications
technologies. As part of the process for achieving these objectives, the
Ufi will broker the provision of learning materials by endorsing
materials which already meet its learning quality criteria, by enhancing
other materials so that they meet its criteria and, where there is a lack
of suitable provision, by commissioning the development of new material.
The purpose of this notice is to invite suppliers of existing material
(or material currently under development) to express an interest in
becoming a qualified supplier to the Ufi. All material will be
distributed via a national network of learning centres. A Qualified
Supplier will be a company, institution, organisation or consortium,
