   1) Must be fully integrated with the existing LAMBDA Minifor laboratory
   fermenter (hardware and software);
   2) The system can be used for batch, fed-batch and continuous bacterial
   fermentation;
   3) Must be able to run fermentation at volumes ranging from 35 mL to
   6.5 L with the same system, and must be possible to extent with
   additional individual modules in the future.
   4) Must be able to control pH, needs to allow for redox and/or oxygen
   sensors, needs to be able to run in anaerobic mode.
