  M50 Upgrade Scheme (Contract 2) - Supplementary Ground Investigation
  II.1.6)  Description/object of the contract: The contract is for the
  carrying out of detailed site investigations along sections of the M50
  motorway around Dublin including at key junctions and on the mainline
  motorway. The services will comprise rotary and percussive boreholes,
  trial pits, dynamic probing, geophysics, geotechnical and environmental
  laboratory testing plus factual reporting (including AGS Data). The
  services will be undertaken adjacent to and on one of the countries
  busiest motorways and as a result traffic management involving lane
  closure and/or night drilling will form an integral component of the
  ground investigation contract.

  site investigations will be carried out along the M50 Motorway which runs
  to the west of Dublin and are located between the M1 Interchange in the
  north and the Sandyford Interchange in the south.

  It will be a condition for the award of this contract that the successful
  tenderer and all sub-contractors appointed by it shall produce promptly a
  valid tax clearance certificate or C2 certificate from the Revenue
  Commissioners. In the case of a non-resident Tenderer, a statement of
  suitability on tax grounds from the Revenue Commissioners in Ireland will
  be required.
